We bought the large thermo perch for our scarlet macaw, just to be on the safe side. Even though we keep his room nice and warm, sometimes when I get him out of the cage in the morning, his feet are cold.
He was perching on it the first night, and has continued to use it, as well as the original “sleeping” perch that we also left in his cage.
I feel better knowing that he will always be warm, no matter how cold and blustery our winter gets here in Kansas City.
We are very happy with this product. It’s very sturdy, as well as a safely made product to use around my baby.
